TEACHERS SHOULD KEEP IN MIND

  • Use a variety of tools (oral, projects, presentations) .
  • Understand different learning styles and abilities.
  • Share the assessment criteria with the students.
  • Allow peer and self assessment.
  • Give an opportunity to the student to improve.

Important Points :

  • CCE will cover the scholastic and co scholastic areas of school education.
  • The two types of assessment referred to in the circular are formative and summative. The periodicity of the two types of assessment are four and twice a year respectively.
  • Formative Assessment totals to 40% weightage.
  • Summative Assessment totals to 60% weightage.
  • There are nine grades in Part A of Scholastic assessment and Part B of the same assessment has five grades.
  • Summative assessment covers non academic areas like attitudes and skills and there are three grades.
  • If a student secures Grade 6 in the academic areas his/her marks would range from 51% to 60%.
  • CCE advocates absolute grading. This means that Grade 9 would imply an A2 grade.

the CCE has given the already currupt teachers absolute power to play with the future of the students, unless the student along with their parents keep the teachers hands nicely polished.
In fact such a system is going to frustrate the students even more and their will be clear cut partiality and they will not be able to do anything about it.
    the new system sucks……..

it is true that the students are getting the opportunities to flare in all the fields but since the future of the students is in the hands of the teachers,it is necessary to have sincere and fair method of assessing the students.

I think this system will definitely justify the students who are very good in extra curricular activities like sports, arts etc. as they can perform the same witout botheration of typical rat-raced exam systems.
But,as entire system of assessment is in contol of school/teachers, the parents/students can’t be having any voice for wrong/unfair practices of school/teachers.
Anyway let’s try thiis new system and just checkout if this system can bring some good results as compared to old one.

i think its a ridiculous step and it would definitely ruin the carrier of many students.
now the entire mark sheet of one is in the hands of the teachers. the guys good in CCA would top and one who was thinking just of studies will be at bottom.its all a damn system

i think this new system really sucks .by introducing cce system they think that they reduce stress of student but this will be another burden for student. and thus instead of decreasing sucide rate in india they will increase it.

Dear sir/mam i want to tell u that this cce was made to reduce the stress not to increase but after knowing that thing by children u should stop cce rather than forcing it in school and if u have done it so then u should also shift the dates of examination to a little later so that we can study
lastly, i would like to tell u that this system is not a well thought and should be aborted for the coming students
